The farmhouse is ideally built with a splendid view over the horizon. Within the farmland is a forest that has been maintained and reflorestated over the years. It is now a paradise for animals - notably monkeys, birds, butterflies and other creatures. There are several pastures, even in front of the house, f or cattle and horses, so that one can observe these animals anytime or while enjoying 'Pousada do Sols' spectacular sunsets.

Coffee is one of the cash crops of the farm and milk production, mainly from the brown Swiss cows and Dutch cows. Salads, vegetables, nuts, fruits are cultivated for self consumption and eggs from Free-range chickens.
